The funeral for Bonnie Adell Burshik, 62, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2006, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vernon Lee, Rev. Brian Taylor and Mr. Derrick Pemberton officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was born to Frank and Lillie (Hollenbeck) Mauldin on April 27, 1944, in Oklahoma City and died Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center as a result of a car accident.

Bonnie married David F. Burshik on Oct. 27, 1962, in Oklahoma City. They spent the last 22 years as owners of Pet-A-Rama in Enid. She was a child of Christ, who loved the Lord faithfully at the Open Door Independent Baptist Church.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, David; two sons, Sheldon and Linus Burshik; one daughter, Debbie Burshik- Clark; son-in-law, Lonny Divis; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and mother-in-law, Frances Burshik, all of Enid; two brothers, Jerry Mauldin and wife Phyllis of Noble and John Mauldin and wife Sue of Grand Junction, Colo.; two sisters, Mirna Blevins and husband Frank of Leesville, La.; and Mira Dow and husband Cliff of Fort Morgan, Colo. She was a wonderful and loving mother, wife and grandmother, and she will be missed greatly.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, LuLisa Divis, who died in the same car accident; her parents, Frank and Lillie Mauldin; and infant grandson, Ernest Divis.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Open Door Independent Baptist Church.
