Floyd Ellis Burris
August 19, 1933 ~ February 10, 2021


Floyd Ellis Burris, 87, of Enid, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully after a short illness on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. He was born to Tom and Merle Burris August 19, 1933 in Three Sands, Oklahoma.

Following high school, he married Lois Cline on June 5, 1953 in Tonkawa, Oklahoma.

Floyd served his country in the Army, stationed in Virginia and Germany, from 1954 to 1956.

Floyd and Lois had 3 children; Wayne, Dennis, and Tracey. The family moved to Enid in 1962.

He worked in various jobs through the years, retiring from Thurman Bridge and Block in 1994.

He dearly loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, seizing every opportunity to spend time with them.

His family was the light of his life.

He is preceded in death by his wife Lois, and son Dennis; his parents; three sisters and one brother
