October 29, 1944 - June 13, 2019

The funeral for Harvey Lee Burdg, age 74, formerly of Enid, will be 10:00AM Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Willow Road Christian Church with Pastors Carroll Still and Lyle Buller officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Visitation with family and friends will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2019 at the Funeral Home.

Harvey was born October 29, 1944 in Hennessey, Oklahoma to Clarence and Vera (Phelps) Burdg and died Thursday, June 13, 2019 at his home in Billings surrounded by his family. He attended local schools and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1964. After graduation he began working with Hackney's until he served in the United States Army, stationed in Korea. He was honorably discharged in 1967. On February 21, 1969 he married Lou Ann Best in Wakita, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Enid where he resumed his career at Hackney's. He remained with the company for 45 years until May 21, 2009.

Harvey was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed working on his automobiles. But mostly, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Lou Ann, of the home; four children, Lee Ann Burdg; Timothy Burdg; Brent Burdg; John Burdg and also, his chosen daughter, Lisa; eight grandchildren, Zechariah; Jonah; Lavender; Madison; Ashlee; Alexus; Jordan and Allie; sister, Velda Bell of Enid; extended daughters, Amanda Kendall; Erin Jordan; and others, Will Gottfried; Kim and children; two sister-in-law's, Paula Barnett and husband, Cliff; Nancy Truman and husband, Don; two nieces, five nephews, Amy; Jade; Josh; Scott and wife, Beth; Chad and Derek.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
