ENID, Okla. ? Funeral for Kenneth Bull, 74, formerly of Colorado Springs, will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2013, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home, with his cousin, Chuck Lloyd officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Kenneth was born to Lloyd Albert and Rose Mae (Boatright) Bull July 3, 1938, in Enid, and went home to be with his Lord on June 25, 2013, in Enid after an extended illness.

Ken graduated from Enid High School, Phillips University (bachelor?s) and Oklahoma State University (master?s and Ph.D.). In 1960, Ken was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in Germany.

Ken was married to Jeri Buckner from 1974-2001. They adopted an infant son, William Drew Bull, in 1994, who was the love of his life.

Ken has worked as a teacher, counselor, principal and superintendent in school districts in Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico and Colorado. He was active in his church and the Republican Headquarters in Colorado Springs. He helped start El Paso County Republican Strategic Forum. He lived 30 years in Colorado and loved the mountains.

Ken is survived by his son, Drew Bull of Colorado Springs; brothers, John Bull (Lavina) of Houston, Willard Bull (Linda) of Ponca City, Charles Bull (Marilyn) of Broken Arrow; sister-in-law, Phyllis Bull of Bartlesville; 16 nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives, close friends and students.
