Funeral for Buck Maverick Bules, 6, of Enid, Okla., will be held at Grace World Outreach Church in Enid, Okla., at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, with the Rev. Wayne Bland officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Buck was born Sept. 10, 2008, and passed away on Monday, Aug. 10, 2015, at Integris Baptist Health Center, Oklahoma City. His birth place was in Oklahoma City to Jason and Bethany Briggs Bules. He lived in Enid, Okla., with his parents and siblings. He was blessed to have two sisters, Bailey Bules, 10, and Harley Bules, 1, and also one brother, Blaine Unruh, 7.

Buck was diagnosed with AxD (Alexanders Disease) at the age of three. He overcame many obstacles that they said he never would. The disease is what took him after six years of staying strong and fighting through it. He loved attending school at Hoover Elementary and looked forward to seeing his teachers every day. He was a much loved boy and anyone that ever met him would agree without a doubt. His personality was undeniably amazing. He was outgoing and always wanted to help people when he could. Everyone who knew Buck was lucky to have such a sweet, loving and absolutely wonderful boy in their presence. He lived an extraordinary life! Buck will always be very loved and missed!

Buck is survived by his parents, Jason and Bethany Bules; his sisters, Bailey and Harley Bules; and his brother, Blaine Unruh. Buck also is survived by all his grandparents including, Beth and Billy Briggs, Warren and Michelle Adams, Greg and Becky Bules and Donna Bules.

Donations can be made to the Buck Bules Fund with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home as custodians of the funds.
