ENID, Okla. - The funeral service for Jennifer Ann Emick Buckles, age 45, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Susan Southall officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with family will be 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Jennifer was born March 25, 1968, and was called to Heaven in the early morning hours of Aug. 4, 2013, after a courageous battle with metastasized breast cancer.

Jennifer grew up in Enid, attending Glenwood Elementary, Waller Junior High, and graduated from Enid High School in 1986. She attended Arizona State University, where she obtained her B.S. in criminal justice in 1990, and then obtained her Master of Sport Science from the United States Sport Academy in 1993.

She married a fellow beloved Enid native, Robert ?Bobby? Buckles on February 25, 1995. Making their home in the Dallas area, the union of Jennifer and Bob produced three sensational sons. Jennifer most recently worked as the Wellness Program Manager for Mary Kay Inc. in Dallas. She was an active community service member, serving on several local boards and foundations, and school PTAs, in addition to conducting fitness classes on the side. Her vibrant glowing smile could always be seen courtside or on the sidelines of her boys numerous sports games.
