DORIS J. BRUMFIELD
The funeral for Doris J. Brumfield, 81, formerly of Douglas, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Ron Graber will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was born April 8, 1926, in Enid to Everett and Nellie Ramona Fry Willard and died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, in Grand Forks, N.D., while visiting a friend.

She was raised southwest of Drummond and graduated from Drummond High School, moving to Enid in 1944. She married Gene Brumfield May 7, 1947, in Enid, where they made their first home before moving southeast of Douglas in 1950. She was a member of Douglas Christian Union Church. In 1993, they retired and moved to Alamo, Texas.

Surviving are one sister, Claribel Collins of Enid.She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation or Douglas Christian Church. Condolences may be made online at www.enidwecare.com
