A Graveside Service for Ida Sue Brownsworth, age 90, of Keosauqua, Iowa, formerly of Enid, will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021, at the Mausoleum in Memorial Park Cemetery, with Dr. Ronnie Brownsworth officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Sue was born August 19, 1931, in Vinson, Oklahoma, one of 11 children, to W.F. and Ida (Blackwell) Taylor, and passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021, in Keosauqua, Iowa.

She married Lloyd Richard Brownsworth on October 17, 1952, at the Vinson Baptist Church, in Vinson, Oklahoma, and to this union two sons, Ronnie and Raymond, were born. Lloyd's budding teaching career took them to Snyder, Oklahoma, where they lived for approximately 12 years while he taught vocational agriculture. They moved to the Enid community in 1967 when Lloyd took a job with Autry Technology Center. Sue was a clerk at Central National Bank for 27 years, retiring in 1996.

She is survived by two sons, Dr. Ronnie Brownsworth and wife Nicole, of Golden City, MO, and Raymond Brownsworth, of Keosauqua, IA; nine grandchildren, Christopher A. Brownsworth and wife Sara, of Nixa, MO, Jonathan Brownsworth and wife Caitlin, of Smyrna, GA, Joshua Brownsworth and wife Maggie, of Marrietta, GA, Nicholas Brownsworth and Katy Brownsworth, both of Kennesaw, GA, Chris M. Brownsworth, of Keosauqua, IA, Victoria Wright and husband Spenser, of Sigourney, IA; Courtney Brownsworth, of Minneapolis, MN, and Sarah Brownsworth, of Keosauqua, IA. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Brook, Owen, Eliana and Bennett, of Nixa, MO, and Claire and Elsie Wright, of Sigourney, IA. Sue is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Richard Brownsworth; parents, W.F. and Ida Taylor; and her ten siblings.

Memorial contributions in Sue's name may be made to the Gideons International, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
