Harriet J. [Beihan] Brown
February 15, 1924 ~ January 31, 2007


The funeral for Harriett Brown, 82, will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Central Christian Church chapel. The Revs. John McLemore and Don Johnson will officiate.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born February 15, 1924, in Fairmont to William H. and Claudia McCord Breihan and died Wednesday, January 31, 2007, in Enid.

She graduated from Douglas High School in 1941. After graduation she moved to Los Angeles.Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She married James B. DaSilva in 1944, and they returned to Fairmont in August 1946. He died in November 1946.

She married Larson “Brownie” Brown June 23, 1959, in Las Vegas. He died October 23, 2006. She was a buyer for Newman's for 33 years, worked in the office for two years and was assistant manager for two years. She retired in April 1985.

She was a member of Central Christian Church, Delta Theta Chi sorority and Big Band Dance Club.

Surviving are one nephew, Gary Snyder of Perry; and two nieces, Janice Breihan of Shidler and Phyllis Binder of Alvin, Texas.
She was preceded in death by both husbands, one daughter, one sister and one brother.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Central Christian Church.

Emma Lee "Emmie" [Day] Brown
June 6, 1927 ~ August 30, 2023


A Celebration of Life for Emma Lee "Emmie" Brown, age 96, of Ada, Oklahoma, formerly of Enid, will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2023, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Emmie was born June 6, 1927, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Roy and Mable [Morris] Day, and passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023, in Ada.
She married Jerry Brown on June 15, 1946, at her parent's home in Enid, along with her brother, William "Bill" Day, and fiance, Wilmette, in a double wedding.

Emmie attended Enid Beauty College and worked as a hairdresser while putting Jerry through college.

She and Jerry attended Central Christian Church and were members of the Sooner Sunday School Class.

Emmie enjoyed many different hobbies, from playing golf, riding motorcycles, snow skiing, and watering skiing, as well as traveling the country in their motor home.

Later in her life, Emmie took up china painting and making porcelain dolls. She made many different and beautiful treasures for her family.

Emmie is preceded in death by husband, Dr Gerald Brown; a daughter, Debra Diane Jantz; brother, Dr William Day; and sister-in-law, Wilmette Day.

She is survived by two children, Jeralee McNeal and husband Roger, of Ada, OK, and son Kevin Brown and wife Leslie, of Blackwell, OK; five grandchildren, Paul Litson, Jonathan Litson, Jennifer Moore, Jordan Brown and wife Kristin, and Taylor Brown and wife Jessica; and ten great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in Emmie's name may be made to Choice Hospice, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of funds.

Thomas C. "Tom" Brown

Funeral services for Thomas C. "Tom" Brown, age 91, of Enid, will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Cedar Ridge Wesleyan Church in Enid, with Pastor Ron Olson officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Tom was born May 21, 1930, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 in Enid.

Tom owned and operated Central Automotive in Enid until his retirement.

Tom married Arline Haught July 26, 1949, and they had four children.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Arline, of the home in Enid; four children: Rev Robert Brown and wife Debbie, of Glencoe, OK; Linda Milacek, of Enid; Judy Brown of Stillwater; and Mike Brown and wife Karen, of Enid. He also leaves 10 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Marie Brown; son-in-law Danny Milacek; and great-grandson Liam Kilmer.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for Alzheimer's & Diseases of the Aging or the American Heart Association, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

Gerald Louis Brown
June 23, 1931 ~ January 7, 2018


Service for Gerald Louis Brown, 86, of Kalkaska, MI, formerly of Roff, is 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Mark Barnes will officiate.

Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr Brown passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, at the Eden Care Center in Kalkaska, Michigan. He was born June 23, 1931, at Fitzhugh to Gilbert and Ruby Fisher Brown Thomas.

He attended Fitzhugh Grade School and graduated from Roff High School. He attended East Central University, Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma State University, the University of Oklahoma, and the University of Alaska.

He married Wanda June Hoover January 22, 1954, in Ada.

Mr Brown was a high school science teacher and also coached football, basketball and baseball. He loved teaching, and taught many life lessons, and he also loved to fish, hunt, and pitch horseshoes.

He was a member of the Enid Free Will Baptist Church.

Mr Brown served in the Oklahoma National Guard in 1949 and the US Army from 1950-1952, being honorably discharged as a sergeant.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda June, of the home; a daughter, Marsha June Brown of Frederick, MI; a son, Gerry Arthur Brown of Irving, TX; one granddaughter, Justiena Peppas of Okinawa, Japan; one grandson, Jacob Niederhouse, of Frederick, MI; one great granddaughter, Lidia Peppas, Okinawa, Japan; and a sister, Hollis Boren of Magnolia, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Delores Jean [Smith] Brown
June 6, 1938 ~ December 4, 2021


The services celebrating and honoring the life of Delores Jean Brown, 83, of Enid, will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday December 10, 2021, in the First Baptist Church with Pastor Kelly Russell officiating.

A visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday December 9 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Burial will follow the services in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Delores was born June 6, 1938, to Jessie and Bessie Smith in Enid, Oklahoma, and passed from this life December 4, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She was raised and educated in Enid, graduating from Enid High School with the class of 1956.

She married Gerald Edward Brown May 31, 1958, in Enid.

She graduated from Phillips University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 1975.

She began teaching third grade in 1974 at Glenwood Elementary until her retirement in 1998. She loved teaching and impacted the lives of hundreds of children in a remarkable way.

Following her retirement, she continued to serve the community working in the Enid High Alumni Association. Delores dedicated her life to serving others and enriching the many lives she touched.

Delores was a member of E.E.A, O.E.A., K.K.I., and a devoted member of the First Baptist Church, Enid.

She is survived by one daughter, Kristin Hancock, of Atlanta, Georgia; one son, Craig Brown, of Edmond, Oklahoma, Amy Brown, daughter-in-law, Chip Hancock, son-in-law, 5 grandchildren, Chandler Hancock, Elizabeth Hancock, Molly Hancock, Jack Brown, Maggie Brown and her brother, Cecil Smith of Enid, OK.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Brown.

Memorials may be given in her honor to First Baptist Church, Enid OK, with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

A Celebration of Life for Jane Elizabeth Brown, age 80, of Enid, will be 10:00 am, Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Dwayne Schroeder officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home trusted with arrangements.

Jane was born in Blackwell, Oklahoma on October 7, 1943, to Robert D. and Ella Alma [Kern] Bersche, and passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 in Enid.

She married Leonard Foy Brown on October 4, 1974. They were married 32 years prior to Leonard's passing in 2006.

Jane graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. As well as teaching, she was a secretary for Pillsbury for many years.

Jane was a member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church where she participated in the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Leonard Brown. She is survived by her brother, Joe Bersche and wife Loretta, of Blackwell, OK, and nephews, Robert [& Pamela] Bersche of Blackwell, Mark [& Wendy] Bersche of Newcastle, and Ken [& Melissa] Bersche of Sealy, Texas.

Jane was also blessed with a daughter, Linda Sneed of Sherman TX. Many great-nieces and nephews were the joy of her heart as well 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

A private family memorial service for Richard James Brown, 54, will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Park Cemetery Garden Chapel.

Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. There will be no viewing or visitation at the funeral home.

He was born October 26, 1953, in Sayre to Jack Leon and Georgia Ann Butricks Brown and died Friday, December 28, 2007, in Enid.

He graduated from Enid High School in 1972.

He served in the Army from 1972 to 1974.

After his discharge, he returned to Enid and worked as a mechanic at Northcutt's, Landwehr Motors, Jantzen's and Enid Diesel.

Surviving are his mother, Georgia Brown of Enid; one son, Buddy Brown of Enid; one brother, Gary Brown; and three sisters, Diana Morgan, Patty Harris and Carolyn Wichert.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.

Memorials may be made to Ross Hospice or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Huntington disease.

ENID, OK - Funeral for Philip A. Brown, 53, Enid, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at Garriott Road Church of Christ. Ray Rose will officiate.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Phil was born November 12, 1960, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Lloyd Allan and Neoma Knox Brown and died January 31, 2014, in Enid.

He grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School. Phil played baseball for American Legion and Enid High School.

He later attended Oklahoma State University.

His true loves were the OU Sooners and Dallas Cowboys football teams and Saint Louis Cardinals.

Phil worked for several years in the oil fields. His passion was being outdoors, fishing and golfing.

He loved his collection of sports memorabilia.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Phil is survived by his mother, Neoma Brown, Enid; two sisters and their husbands, Debbie and Kelly Considine, Pam and Dave Williams, all of Guthrie; nieces, Christi Byford, Carrie Foote, Amy Haskins, Kaylee Abbott and their families; numerous friends and family.

The funeral service celebrating the life Debra K. Brown, 53, of Enid, will be held 3 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2017, in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Rick Dominick officiating and Pastor Dr Greg Hook co-officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She was born March 20, 1963 in Hornell, New York, to Jim and Carol Crabtree and passed from this life January 25, 2017, in Oklahoma.

She was raised in a military family, living in seven different states and three foreign countries. She attended High School in LaVista, Nebraska, and later received her G.E.D. She moved with her family to Enid.

She married Rick Failing, and from this union came two daughters.

She married Joel Brown in 2005 in Enid.

She attended Your Family Church. She enjoyed volunteering in the church food pantry and helping Forgotten Ministries and providing Christmas gifts for the children.

She was an advocate for animals and loved her dogs.

She cherished spending time with her parents and children and adored her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Joel of the home; her parents of Enid; her daughters, Serah and husband Joey Watson of Enid and Lynda Skrdla of Enid; three grandchildren, Taylor, Joshua and Trysta; brothers, Eldon, Randy and wife Dee and Greg McCormick and wife Roberta; five nephews; and two nieces.

Memorials may be made in her name to Loaves and Fishes, with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
