The funeral for Elmer Oh. Briechle, age 94, of Enid will be 10 AM Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Don Tines will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements made by Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.

He was born in Arizona, October 17, 1911, to Otto and Mae (Turvey) Briechle and died Monday, April 3, 2006, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.

He graduated from the Blackwell High School and graduated from Oklahoma University with a degree in business. He married Emma Bowman on December 25, 1935. She died December 29, 1994.

He owned and operated the Braman Locker Plant for 17 years. He moved to Enid in 1967 and went to work for Bloom Meat Market as a meat cutter. Later he worked for Advance Food in the meat department as a supervisor until his retirement.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Braman and received his 50 – year pin.

Surviving are one son, Harold Briechle of Enid; one daughter, Barbara Moore and husband Leroy of Enid; granddaughter, Chanda Decker and husband Bud of Enid; and great – grandchildren, Ashley Decker and Tyler Decker.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma, with his parents, and his brother and sister.
