ENID, Okla. — Funeral service for Janice Diane Braafhart, 71, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2013, at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Gary Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She was born May 17, 1942, in Hutchison, Kan., and passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 28, 2013.

Janice was the beloved mother of Vicki (Mike) Bergles, Kimberli Wyckoff, Tracy Leonnig and Ron Wyckoff, all of Colorado. She was a loving grandmother to Brandi (Pablo) Rojas and their children, Hailee, Isabella and Sofia; Aaron (Glenna) Jacobs and their children, Ana, Ulicia, Jarred, Sara and Zachary Leonnig of Colorado.

She is survived by her loving sister and best friend, Brenda Gregory (Garry) Gregory, their daughter Michelle (Mike) Bixler and their children, Kaylee, Dylan and Alexis.

Jan came to Enid in July after retiring from Bituminous Insurance to live near her sister, Brenda. In her short time in Enid, she made some wonderful friends and loved her caring neighbors.

Jan was very proud of her beautiful '57 Chevy that she loved to show and for which she won numerous awards. She had a green thumb and loved gardening, a passion she shared with her daughters.

Jan enjoyed her last weekend at her "Heaven on Earth" lake house at Lake Tenkiller with her family. She was an incredibly loving and caring individual and will always be loved and incredibly missed. Mom, our cup runneth over.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.

Condolences can be given online at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
