Belle Boyer
June 6, 1893 ~ December 22, 1971

Mrs Belle Boyer, 78, Hillsdale, died Wednesday evening of an apparent heart attack. She was born June 6, 1893, at Manson, Iowa, and came to Oklahoma at an early age, settling in the Hillsdale community.

She married Roy Boyer December 24, 1910, at Hillsdale and he preceded her in death in 1918. Two sons also predeceased her.

Mrs Boyer was a member of the Hillsdale Congregational Church and the Nash Chapter No 381 of the order of the Eastern Star.

Her survivors are two sons, Roy "Si" and Harry, both of Hillsdale, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 PM Sunday in the Hillsdale Congregational Church with Rev Meredith Sides officiating. Roy Boyer Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.

Roy L. "Si" Boyer
1918 ~ June 24, 1975


Roy L. "Si" Boyer, 57, Hillsdale, died Tuesday near Guthrie as the result of a tractor accident.

His funeral will be at 2 PM Saturday in the Hillsdale Congregational Church with the Rev Meredith Sides officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

A brother, Harry Boyer of Hillsdale; a nephew, Rex Boyer and a niece, Zola Boyer both of Hunter, survived. His parents and two brothers died before he did.

Geneva Lucille [McCray] Boyer
March 18, 1923 ~ July 19, 2006


The funeral for Geneva Lucille McCray Boyer, 83, of Laverne, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Hunter Christian Church. The Rev Thomas Corrigan will officiate.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.

She was born March 18, 1923, in Grainola to Clarence Moses and Eva Mae Clark McCray and died Wednesday, July 19, 2006, in Buffalo.

She grew up around Stillwater before moving to western Kansas. She lived in Hillsdale, where she graduated from high school.

She married Alvin McBeth Boyer June 3, 1944, in Guthrie. He died in 1968.

They moved to Hunter in 1946 where they farmed and had a dairy. She moved to Laverne in 1997.

She was a licensed cosmetologist and served as a postal clerk in Hunter post office and then as postmistress, retiring from the postal department in 1990 after 18 years.

She was a member of Hunter Christian Church.

Surviving are one son, Rex Boyer of Hunter; one daughter, Dr Zola Price of Laverne; four sisters, Mary Jones, Katherine Lounsbury, Jane Bible and Faye Smith; five brothers, Bernard, Robert, Richard, Wayne and Steve McCray; five grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin, one sister and three brothers.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Christian Church in Hunter.

Mrs Oliver [Lorene] Boyer, 39, 1902 N. Kennedy, died suddenly Thursday evening in her home.

Her funeral rites were at 2 PM Monday in the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Howard Snell officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs Boyer was born in Homestead, New Mexico, and moved to Oakwood with her parents when she was two years old, then to Enid in 1943.Enid in 1943. She attended Longfellow junior high and Enid high school.

She and Oliver Boyer were married in Enid October 25, 1966.Enid in 1943. She attended Longfellow junior high and Enid high school.

She was a member of the Spaulding Assembly of God Church.

Surviving are her husband Oliver of the home; a daughter, Deborah of the home; a son, Gary D. Smith of California; three sisters, Mrs Charles [Darlene] Solario, Wikiup, Arizona, Mrs Bill [Irene] Hill of Canton and Mrs Doris Vincent, Herndon, Kansas; a brother, J. E. Close of Enid.Enid in 1943. She attended Longfellow junior high and Enid high school.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Janel Arlene [Nordyke] Boyer
July 8, 1976 ~ April 16, 2022


The services celebrating and honoring the life of Janel Arlene [Nordyke Boyer, 45, of Enid, will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 23, 2022, in the World Harvest Church. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Janel was born July 8, 1976, to Dennis Leroy Nordyke and Deborah Lee Weder in Denver, Colorado, and passed from this life April 16, 2022, in Enid, Oklahoma.

Janel was raised and educated in Enid and graduated from Cimarron High School in 1994.

She attended Rogers State University and worked in various jobs.

On September 20, 2008, she married the love of her life Jay Boyer.

She attended Northern Oklahoma College achieving an associates degree in 2008 and achieved her bachelor's degree in social work from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 2012.

She enjoyed camping, spending time at the lake and Colorado with friends and family, traveling, and painting.

She was a talented artist.

She is survived by her husband, Jay Boyer, of the home, one son Tyler Jones, of California, one sister Carolynn and Patrick Williamson, of Little Rock Arkansas, her mother Debbie and Wade Mason, of Lahoma, and two granddaughters, Aurora and Sage Jones, of Enid; her in laws JD and Jane Boyer; sister-in-law Jana Boyer and fiance Chris Foster; brother-in-law Danny Halcomb; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Juanita Nordyke, father Dennis Nordyke, sister-in-law Jill [Boyer] Halcomb.

Memorials may be made in her honor to 4RKids with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
