Services for William C. "Bill" Bouse, 72, 1407 E. Maple, are set for 2 PM Wednesday in the Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim H. Logsdon officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.

Bouse died Monday afternoon following an illness of several weeks.

He was born near Waverley, Kansas, and had lived and farmed most of his adult life in western Major County before retiring and moving to Enid in 1970.

He married the former Bessie Long in Fairview April 15, 1925. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1975. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He was also a member of the 49er Sunday School class.

Survivors include: his widow, Bessie, of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Roy (Juanita) Owens, Wichita, Kansas, Mrs. Olen (Naomi) Nichols, Wichita, Mrs. Jesse (Myrtle) Stecker, Enid; six sons, Raymond of Fairview, Jake, Eugene, James, Marvin and Joe, all of Oklahoma City; 30 grandchildren and six great – grandchildren; four sisters, Addie Conaway and Mary Brown, Oklahoma City, Estella McKee of Fairview and Sylvia Buller of Clifton, Colorado; and one brother, Andy Bouse, Anthony, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by four brothers.
