Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Robert E. “Bob” Boston will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr. Richard Cravens officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Bob was born Dec. 3, 1933, in Cherokee, Okla., the son of Leonard Thomas and Sarah Vivian Campbell Boston and passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at his residence.

He was veteran of the United States Army, serving in the National Guard 45th Division.

He was united in marriage to Donita Halstead on July 29, 1953.

She preceded him in death on Sept. 19, 2002.

Bob had lived in Enid since 1952, and in 1974, he went to work for Luckinbill Inc., retiring in 2002, after 28 years.

His memberships include the UA Plumbers Union for 48 years, the Enid Elks Lodge and Enid Moose Lodge. He also was a member of Nash Christian Church and had attended the Cowboy Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Robbi Butler and husband Ken of Eufaula, Okla., and Stacey Smith and husband Colby of Katy, Texas; son, Tracy Boston of Wichita, Kan.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth and husband Sonny Barnes of Batavia, Ohio; brother-in-law, Elvin Wofford of Enid; several nieces and nephews; and friend, Cheryl Cates.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Bernice Thornberry, Maxine Sweatt and Doris Wofford, and a brother, William J. Boston.

Memorial contributions may be made to Enid Elks Lodge or Nash Christian Church, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.
