Graveside services for Ann Austin Boone, 69, will be 12 noon today, Sept. 6, 2007, in Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Roy Schneider officiating. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Ann was born in Chickasha, OK the daughter of Maxine Austin and the late Marsden Austin and died Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, in Houston, TX.

She was raised and educated in Enid, graduating from Enid High School with the Class of 1956. She attended and graduated from Randolph Macon Women’s College in Lynchburg, VA where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and was a class officer all four years. Ann was owner of Glenn Kelly Placement Service for many years and most recently was a broker associate of Home Team of America. Ann was a member of the Texas Board of Realtors and a member of Grace Presbyterian Church. Her many interests included her pets, fishing, her farm, gourmet cooking, sports and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her mother, Maxine of Enid, OK; brother, Sanford and wife Judy Austin of Oklahoma City; one niece, nephew, great-nephew and long-time friend Jan McCartney.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Memorials may be made in Ann’s memory to Houston SPCA or CAP (Citizens for Animal Protection) with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the fund.
