Celebration of Life service for Jo Lee Webb Booker, 83, of Enid, Okla., will be 2 p.m. today, Feb. 22, 2015, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Roy Conrad will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Jo Lee was born Jan. 18, 1932, in Enid, Okla., to Homer H. and Gus Tava (Spann) Webb and died at her home on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015.

She attended school in Enid and graduated from Enid High School in 1950.

She also attended Oklahoma State University, graduating in 1954, with a bachelor of Science degree in Commerce.

She was affiliated with Delta Zeta Sorority, which she served as president, vice president and Dream Girl.

In 1954, she married Hollis Wayne Booker at First Baptist Church in Enid.

During her marriage she lived in South Carolina, France, Texas, the Philippines and California, while traveling with her Air Force husband. They celebrated 53 years of married life. She was a homemaker, a real estate agent and secretary-treasurer of the family business, Booker’s Transmission Inc., from 1979 until her retirement in 1995.

She also was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and Bible school for many years.

Surviving are two children: a daughter, Sharon Lynn Veach and husband John, and a son, Kevin Wayne Booker and wife Pam, and a grandson, Kyle Wayne Booker, all of Enid.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis in 2007, her parents, and sister, Bobby Jean Allred.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or First Baptist Church, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home acting as custodian of the funds.
