August 31, 1911 - April 13, 1996

The funeral for Valeria L. Bonnewell, 84, will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Lawrence Gresham will officiate. Arrangements are under direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born Aug 31, 1911, in Wellington, Kan., to Henry and Eva Mae Burbdrige Daniels, and died Saturday, April 13, 1996, in Intergris Bass Baptist Health Center.

She attended schools at Cleo Springs and Fairview and college at Alva. She taught in a small country school south of Waynoka.

On Feb. 27, 1931, she married Norris Oliver Bonnewell in Woodward. She worked for may years at Golden Krust Bakers in Alva and Mary's Bakery of Enid decorating cakes, and she also managed the bakery department of Ideal Grocery in Enid. She retired from St. Mary's Hopital as a seamstress. She was a member RSVP of Enid.

Surviving are three sons, Robert of Sioux City, Iowa, Clinton of Plano, Texas, and Daniel, of Del City; one daughter, Olive Bonnewell Meritt of Enid; one stepson, Carlos Gene Bonnewell of Nashville, Tenn; one brother Victor Daniels of De; City; and one sister, Pauline Sheomaker of Larned, Kan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son four brothers and five grandchildren.

Memorials may be mad to RSVP of Enid with Ladusau-Evans acting as custodian of the fund.
