September 27, 1892 - March 17, 1953

Mrs. Jessie Cora Hill Bond, 61, a former Hennessey resident, died in an Enid hospital Tuesday afternoon, following an illness of several months.

A native of McPherson, Kansas, she had lived in Oklahoma since she was eight years old. She had resided in Enid since moving there from Hennessey in 1922, except for a few years spent with her husband in Ft. Scott, Kansas, during the war.

She was a former member of the Hennessey chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband, of the home; two sons and four daughters, Clifford and Lowell E. Bond, of Enid; Mrs. Willis Rawlins, Munich, Germany; Mrs. Fred McCartney, of Carlsbad, California; Mrs. Glenn Defoe, Austin, Texas, and Miss Donna Bond, University of Oklahoma School of Nursing in Oklahoma City. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Ada Hill, Neoberg, Oregon; one brother, Harry Hill, Neoberg, and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
