The funeral for Hazel Henrietta Bolenbaugh, 94, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Shorty Unruh will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was born July 1, 1911, in Bison to Albert Henry and Barbara Rebecca Jaide Schlottog and died Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at Golden Oaks Retire-ment Village.

She graduated from Enid High School and attended Oklahoma State University and Phillips University, where she earned a teaching degree.

She married Donald O. Bolenbaugh Dec. 25, 1936. They made their home in Cedarville, Kan. In 1937, they moved to Carrier where they owned and operated a dairy farm. She was a member of Carrier Congregational Church and taught school in Victor, Skedee and later at Emerson Junior High School, where she taught math and business. They retired in 1982 and moved to Enid where they attended Oakwood Christian Church and Enid Bible Church.

Surviving are two sons, Ken O. Bolenbaugh and Neil Bolenbaugh, both of Enid; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, and one brother.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Carrier Community Church or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
