Funeral service for Darrell Boese Jr., 53, of Enid, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Steve Lance officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends is 6-7:30 p.m. today, Sept. 29, at the funeral home.

Darrell was born Sept. 17, 1962, in Enid, to Darrell Wayne Sr. and Kathryn (Holloway) Boese and passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015, at his home in Enid.

Darrell grew up in Enid, graduated from Chisholm High School, and attended college at NWOUS in Alva.

On June 23, 2000, he married Christina Buffalo in Eureka Springs, Ark., and they made their home in Enid.

Darrell worked as a truck driver for Select Energy. He loved sports, little league, racing and spending time fishing.

Darrell is survived by his wife, Christina and son Derek Boese of the home; his parents, Darrell Sr. and Kathryn Boese of Enid; brother, Donny Boese of Oklahoma City; sister, Kathy Reihm and husband Jerry of Enid; and grandma, Florence Holloway of Enid.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Glen Holloway and Lucy and Tillman Boese.
