Graveside services for Sam Houston Bobbitt, 84, will be conducted at 10:30 AM Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery. Doctor Lloyd H. Lambert, senior minister of Central Christian Church, will officiate. Arrangements are by Fossett Funeral Home.

Bobbitt was born October 28, 1899, in San Augustine to John and Sarah Bobbitt. He was past Secretary of the I00F, holding a lifetime membership in the organization for 45 years. He was also a past president of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, and had served as vice president of the State Chapter, being active in moving the national organization from Chicago to Tulsa. He had also been active in the local March of Dimes and other community projects and was former City Commissioner for the City of Enid.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret; two sons, Ronald Lee Bobbitt, Tulsa, and Sam Raye Bobbitt, Fort Worth, Texas; one brother, J. Carl Bobbitt, Golden Rod, Florida; four sisters, Martha H. Stuteville, San Jose, California, and Mrs. C. L. Starks, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Mrs. Lela Fletcher, Los Altos, California, and Mrs. Suda Cavette, San Jose, California; and two grandchildren.
