Mass of Christian burial for Antonia “Toni” Best, 71, of Enid, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with the Rev. Carson Krittenbrink as celebrant. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Toni was born Jan. 6, 1944, in Gary, Ind., the daughter of Zeno and Anna Mae Thatcher Dolasinski and passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015.

She was a graduate of W.A. Wirt High School in 1962 in Gary, Ind.

Toni was united in marriage to Roland “Ed” Best on May 16, 1970, in Gary, Ind.

She was a veteran of the United States Army.

Toni was employed as a CNA for area nursing homes and later a sales representative for Service Merchandise.

Toni enjoyed boating, motorcycling and spending time with her husband driving cross country. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Ed; three daughters, Darla Best, Doreen Ward and Tracey Bowers-Best and son in-law, Tim Bowers, all of Enid; two sons, Thomas Graham and Roland Edward Best II and his wife Loretta, both of Lahoma; stepson, Nathan Best of Milltown, Ind.; two stepdaughters, Lisa Marie Casillo of South Bridge, Mass., and Jolene Bailey and husband Joey of Sellersburg, Ind.; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Allan Dolasinski and wife Harriet, Gary Dolasinski and wife Vicki Lynn, both of Carmen, Okla., and Mark Dolasinski of Enid.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Irene and Whitty Wood.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
