OBITUARY
The funeral service for Chester “Tex” Berutti, age 95 will be held Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church. Rev Keith Miller will officiate. Graveside service will be at 10:00 am at the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, February 17, 2012 from 7-8 pm at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Chester “Tex” Berutti was born October 27, 1916 in Witt, IL to Martin and Mary Riccono Berutti and died February 15, 2012 in Enid, OK. One sister, Edith Riccono, age 90, of Kansas City, MO and one brother, Paul Berutti, age 93 of St Louis, MO. His older brother, Bill Berutti of Willsonville, IL died in 1994. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1940. He served in the South Pacific during WWII and was stationed at Reese Army Air Force Base in Lubbock, TX. There he met and married Edna Mae Paulk. They had three daughters, Glenda Teaff and husband Bill of Conroe, TX, Linda Pinkerton and husband, Leland of Guadalupita, NM and Mary Kay Gaskin and husband Mitch of Santa Monica, CA; nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. They moved to Enid, OK in 1964 where he worked at Northcutt Chevrolet and became General Manager, retiring in 1980. Edna passed away in May 1989. One grandson, David Teaff passed away in 2002. On May 26, 1990 he married Rosalie Berg and her family added two daughters and one son, Karen Canfield of Columbia, MD, Denice Fothergill and husband Tim of Tulsa, OK, John Berg and wife Debbie of Enid, OK; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Survivors include, children: Glenda Teaff and husband Bill of Conroe, TX, Linda Pinkerton and husband Leland of Guadalupita, NM and Mary Kay Gaskin and husband Mitch of Santa Monica, CA; Karen Canfield of Columbia, MD, Denice Fothergill and husband, Tim of Tulsa, OK, John Berg and wife Debbie of Enid, OK; 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, one great great grandchid; He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Edna Mae, his wife, Rosalie; his brother, Bill Berutti, and grandson, David Teaff.
