May 5, 1917 - August 12, 2006

The funeral for Mabel May Bereman, 89, of Enid will be 2 p.m. today in the Anderson-Burrus Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Tom Legrand will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ander-son-Burris Funeral Home.

She was born on May 5, 1917, in Coffeyville, Kan., to Harry and Luella Burdick Bowman and died on Aug. 12, 2006, in Enid. She grew up in Coffeyville and graduated from high school.

She married Berle Bereman in February 1935, and they made their home in Coffeyville. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Friendship Club and A.A.R.P.

Surviving are three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter and one sister.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Methodist Home Activities Fund.
