Funeral service for Ruby Mae Bearden-Pino, 81, of Enid, Okla., will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel. The Revs. Jeff Pino and Laura Williams-Choate will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Service is under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Ruby was born Oct. 16, 1933, to Walter F. and Elsie (Waites) Bearden in Sylacauga, Ala., and passed away Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, in Enid, following a courageous battle from a brain stroke. She was surrounded by family and friends.

She was raised and educated in Alabama, graduating from B.B. Comer High School in 1954. She married Luciano Pino on May 26, 1955.

She lived on the La Guna Reservation in New Mexico for 11 years, moved back to Alabama, then back to the La Guna Reservation.

She moved to Okeene in February 1987. She moved to Enid in December 1990. She loved her family dearly.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Pino of the home; daughters, Caroline and husband Bryan Campbell of Enid, and Ann Pino-Escajeda and husband Pete of El Paso, Texas; two grandchildren, Barbara and husband Drew Sanders and Christt and husband Marty Burguss; three great-granddaughters, Dionna Isaac, and Joscelyn and Brianna Sanders; five sisters, and one brother; numerous nieces and nephews from Sylacauga, Ala., and from Laguna, New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luciano Pino in 2008; her parents; her eldest sister, Margaret; two sons, Joel Edward Pino and Nathaniel Pino; and one granddaughter, Jessica Campbell.
