Duwain F. Beggs

Duwain F. Beggs, 75, 200 E. Cottonwood, died Thursday morning in a local hospital following a long illness.

He was born near Medford, attended schools there and farmed northeast of Enid for a number of years, until retiring eight years ago.

Beggs and Delorse Lemon were married April 15, 1939, in Kingfisher. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Enid Lodge No. 80.

Survivors include his wife Delorse of the home; two sons, Kenneth and Clifford Beggs, Stamford, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Black, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Mrs. Thelma Beggs, San Marcos, Texas; two brothers, George and Virgil Beggs, Enid, two grandchildren, Rev. Douglas Beggs, Midland, Texas, and Caron Lindsey, Stamford; three great – grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 AM Saturday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Douglas Beggs, grandson of the deceased, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
