The funeral service for Arthur Lee Becker is 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2017, at Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Gary Miller officiating. Burial follows in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Arthur Lee Becker, 95, passed from this life on December 26, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City after a short illness.

He was born on February 25, 1922, to Barney and Nettie Becker of Goltry, OK, the youngest of eight children.

Arthur graduated from Helena-Goltry High School and served in the Army Air Corp in Italy during World War II. In 1946, he married Wanda Sheets and they made their home in Enid for the next 71 years. They raised two children, one son and one daughter, and were faithful members of Central Christian Church for more than 50 years.

Art worked as a service technician for Weldon Chevrolet and later Northcutt Chevrolet for a total of more than 40 years. He loved working for Leonard Northcutt and the Northcutt family.

Art will be missed by his neighbors, his friends at church, and his family.

Arthur is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Darrell Coppedge; son, Douglas Becker; granddaughter, Tammy Neal; nieces, Carolyn Ames and Patricia Wayman.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda, and a grandson, Jeremy Becker.
