A graveside service for Arthur Leo Becker, 74, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Garden Chapel of Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.

He was born Nov. 15, 1931, in Goltry to John and Irene Eck Becker and died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2006, in Enid.

He attended Fairview area schools and later Oklahoma Bible Academy at Meno. He served in the Army during the Korean War with the 4th Division Medical Services. He was awarded the bronze star and merit award. He married Myrtle Unruh in 1956. She died. He married Pauline Lovelady in 1992 in Eureka Springs, Ark. He worked at Enid Grain Inspection 33 years.

Surviving are his wife, Pauline of the home; one son, Larry McCormick of Enid; one sister, Vivian Biles of Sulphur; two brothers, Robert Becker of Enid and John Becker of Bella Vista, Ark.

He was preceded in death by one daughter and one sister.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Ross Hospice.

Pauline Frances Becker, 80-year-old former Enid resident, passed away Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, in Olathe, Kan. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Deacon Tony Crispo will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Pauline was born Aug. 12, 1930, in Orlando, Okla., to Dewey and Erma (Klausmier) Thrasher. At an early age the family moved to Enid, where she attended Jefferson Grade School and Emerson Junior High. In 1947, she married Glen McCormick, with whom she had two children. She worked for Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator and also worked as a caregiver in nursing homes and Enid State School Hospital. She did private sitting later in life. She valued home life above all, raising her children, enjoying her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Having friends stop by to visit was very special.

She is survived by one son, Larry McCormick of Enid; four grandchildren, Tanya Rance and husband Braden of Olathe, Kan., Eric Suttles and wife Kim of Krebs, Okla., Heath McCormick and wife Megan of Edmond, Okla., Gayla Santos and husband Greg of San Diego, Calif.; four great-grandchildren; and three nephews.

She was preceded in death by her late husbands, S.J. Lovelady and Leo Becker; daughter, Linda (McCormick) Jester; sister, Irene Johnson; and an infant son, Kent Scheffe.
