Kenneth Eugene Beaty
December 11, 1922 ~ August 26, 1994


Kenneth E Beaty, age 71 of Enid, died Friday morning in the St Mary's Hospital. He was born December 11, 1922 in Stonewall, Oklahoma to Clarence and Rae McCasland Beaty, and spent most of his life in Enid, graduating from Enid High School in 1941.

He attended O.B.U. on a track scholarship, and served in the U.S. Army during World War Ii, with the 389th A.A. Battalion.

He and Wilma Easterling were married July 3, 1947, and he was employed with the Champlin Refining CO for 37 years, retiring as a foreman.

He was a member of the Central Christian Church and served as a Deacon. Also a member of the American Legion, the Men's Garden Club, and active in the Boy Scouts.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma, of the home; one son, Kent Beaty of Enid and one daughter, Linda Scoffield of Sulphur Springs, Texas; five grandchildren; Dain and Travis Beaty of Hutchison, Kansas; Lauren, Wil and Shristian Scoffiel of Sulphur Springs, Texas, two step grandchildren, Trecia Scoffield of oklahoma City, and Christie Estadt of Fayetteville, North Carolina; one great grandson, Tyler Grant Beaty of Hutchinson, Kansas; one sister, Elma Jewell Moore of Enid.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son.

Funeral services for Kenneth will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday in the Central Christian Church with Rev Harold Van Cleave, Kevin Arensman and Lewis Corporon officiating.

Burial will be in the memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Central Christian Church either through the church or the funeral home. The casket will be open at the funeral home until 8:00 a.m. Monday and at the church until service time.

Wilma Ruth [Easterlin] Beaty
October 28, 1923 ~ November 19, 2008


The funeral for Wilma Ruth Beaty, 85, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2008, at Central Christian Church. The Revs John McLemore and Don Johnson will officiate.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born October 28, 1923, in Ashley to William S. and Rachael Northup Easterling and died Wednesday, November 19, 2008, at St Mary's Regional Medical Center.

She graduated from Enid High School in 1941, and attended college in York, Nebraska.

She was Rosie the Riveter during World War II at Tinker Air Force Base on the B-25s.

She married Kenneth E. Beaty July 3, 1947, in Oklahoma City.

She worked at Northcutt Chevrolet for 15 years and then was a homemaker.

She was a volunteer for Horn of Plenty, Care Givers at Central Christian Church, Meals on Wheels, involved in the Christian Women's Fellowship, Central Christian adult Bible study and co-founder of Friends of the Children in Mexico.

Surviving are one son, Kent Beaty; one daughter, Linda Scofield; one brother, Bill Easterling; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, one infant son and two sisters.
