Funeral services for Irving A. Beall, 69, will be conducted Wednesday at 3:30 PM in the First United Methodist Church, with Dr. John Russell and Dr. Robert J. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Heart Fund with Brown Funeral Home as fund custodian.

Beall, who was President of the Security National Bank, and a member of its Board of Directors for the past 11 years, died Sunday evening of an apparent heart attack while watching television in his home.

A native of Hennessey, Beall came to Enid after graduating from high school and had been associated with Security National Bank for 50 years.

He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and was also active in community affairs, serving as chairman of the Downtown Development Committee for three years.

Beall was a member of Argonne Post Four of the American Legion and Garfield Lodge No. 501 AF & AM.

He was also a past member of the Enid Lions Club, a member of the board and vice – president of Midwestern Life Insurance Company and a member of the fifty-year club of the Oklahoma Bankers Association.

Currently a member of the board of Oakwood Country Club, he had served as chairman of the Community Chest Advanced Gifts division and chairman of the Garfield County Heart Association.

He was awarded the Outstanding Boss Award by the Enid chapter of the Junior Chamber of Commerce in 1968.

Survivors include his wife, Esther, of the home at 1206 Cheyenne; a daughter, Mrs. Tom (Norma) Meredith of Wichita, Kansas; a son, Charles J. Beall of Vincernes, Indiana; a step son, Rox Moyers of Camarillo, California; a step daughter, Mrs. Robert (Tonya Lynn) Cummins of Texas City, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Vern Harter, Wichita; a brother, Lloyd Beall of Hennessey; and 11 grandchildren.
