The funeral for Helen Carolyn Baxter, 82, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Bishop George Curtis will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

She was born Nov. 11, 1925, in Tulsa to Joseph Hill and Mabel Aaron Franklin and died Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, at Greenbrier Nursing Center, Enid.

She graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1943. She worked at Tulsa Credit Bureau and Avis Call Center, Tulsa. She married Paul Baxter Oct. 10, 1979, in Provo, Utah, where they made their home. She was a homemaker and member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She moved to Enid in 1993.

Surviving are her son, Ben Franklin of Enid; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Paul, she was preceded in death by one brother and one great-grandson.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, diabetes division, or Hospice Circle of Love.
