Funeral services for J. L. Bauermeister, 501 S. Harrison, have been set for 2 PM Saturday in Emmanuelle Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Sunderland officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.

Bauermeister died suddenly Tuesday. He was born in Seneca, Kansas, and came to Enid with his parents at an early age. He was employed by Champlin Petroleum Company for 31 years and retired as night superintendent several years ago.

Bauermeister was a member of the Lutheran Church, VFW, Argonne Post Four, and served with the Army in France during World War I.

Argonne Post No. Four will conduct military graveside rites.

Survivors include his wife Pauline of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Max Proffer, Richmond, Virginia; one son, C. E., Topeka, Kansas; and two grandchildren.

Bauermeister was a charter member of the Enid Sportsmen Club.
