© Enid Morning News Enid, Oklahoma October 1977 March 4, 1906 ~ October 1977 Medford – Irelene Bauer, 71, died Saturday in a Caldwell, Kansas, hospital. Her service was today at 2 PM in the United Methodist Church at Medford with the Rev. Douglas Thatcher officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery at Enid under the direction of Hills Funeral Home, Medford. Survivors include her husband John; one daughter, Mrs. Steve [Charlotte] Crank, Muskogee; one son, Johnny, Medford; one sister, Mrs Cecil Tautfest, Tonkawa; two brothers, A. B. Murphy, Mount Juliet, Montana, and Earl Murphy, Billings; and two grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church Building Fund with the funeral home acting as custodian. |
© Enid Morning News Enid, Oklahoma July 1971 January 18, 1929 ~ July 24, 1971 Mrs Tom [Marie] Bauer, 42, 1629 S. Adams, died in a local hospital Saturday following a period of ill health. Mrs Bauer, known as Mike, was born January 18, 1929, at Moscow, Pennsylvania. She was married to Tom Bauer on February 28, 1946, and they came to Enid from Winterhaven, Florida, in 1960. She was a member of the Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband, Tom, of the home; a daughter, Mrs Sharon Scher of Sacramento, California, and a son, Kenneth Bauer, of the U. S. Navy, stationed in California; three sisters, Ellen Hedglen, Ruth Spatbelf, and Ann Pleripkhardt, all of New York and Pennsylvania; also four brothers, LeRoy Colwell of Manhattan, New York, Jack Colwell of Moscow, Pennsylvania, and Dick and Joe Colwell of New York City. Funeral services for Mrs Bauer will be at 2 PM Monday in the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with the Rev L. Clarence Schultz officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. |
