ENID — The funeral service for Warren Howard “Bart” Bartlow, age 82, will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2011, at Garland Road Baptist Church. Rev. Jeff Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Bart was born May 26, 1928, in Aline, OK, to Earl and Rachel Icke Bartlow and died at his home May 4, 2011. He graduated from high school in Howard, Kansas.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1950-1952 and discharged with the rank of corporal.

He married W. Joan Harmon September 18, 1952. He worked as a general mechanical car foreman for AT&SF railroad for 34 years, retiring in Amarillo, TX, December 1986. He started work in Waynoka, OK, then Clovis, N.M.; Belen, N.M.; Galveston, TX; back to Belen; then Amarillo, TX. He was a member of Garland Road Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Joan of the home; daughter, Ramona Bartlow of Enid; five brothers, Rex and Ardena Bartlow of Ottawa, KS, Duane and Norma Bartlow of Sonora, CA, Wayne and Marilyn Bartlow of Buena Vista, CA, Victor and Janie Bartlow of Fort Worth, TX and Mel and Peggy Bartlow of Dog Patch, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Norman, and two sisters, Elsie Carpenter and Leta Wilson.
