© Enid News and Eagle Enid, Oklahoma January 22, 2022 May 4, 1928 ~ January 5, 2022 A Celebration of Life for Ruby Lee Barney, age 93, of Enid, will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2022, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastors Dale Cummins and Lyle Buller officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 9th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Ruby was born to Roy and Pansey [Bailey] Valentine in Taloga, Oklahoma, on May 4, 1928, and passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at her home in Enid. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Barney; parents, Roy and Pansey Valentine; three sisters, Twila and Hazel Valentine and Faye Hicks. She is survived by two sons, Gary Barney, of Enid, Darrell Barney and wife Susan, of Enid; two sisters, Jewel Young, of Taloga, Chris Douglas, of Edmond; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends. Memorial contributions in Ruby's name can be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds. Enid, Oklahoma May 2009 October 26, 1937 ~ May 30, 2009 Son of Eva Bell Myers and Leeman Keith Barney, he graduated from Enid High School in 1956. He retired from the City of Enid in 1999, after 16 years of service. He was survived by his wife, Carole Dotson, married in 1970; six children; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. His funeral was held on June 3, 2009, with The Rev Richard Fleig officiating. |

© Enid News and Eagle Enid, Oklahoma November 16, 2014 December 2, 1953 ~ November 12, 2014 Celebration of Life and Remembrance for Donna Lavern Barney, 60, of Cushing, Oklahoma, will be 1 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2014, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, Enid, OK. Reverend Dale Cummins and Pastor Kyle Wright will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Donna was born December 2, 1953, in San Diego, California, to parents Marion "Dink" Wells and Thelma [Crawford] Wells. She passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014, in Cushing Regional Hospital. Donna passed away doing what she loved, working at her job as assistant director of nursing at Valley Hope Treatment Center in Cushing, Oklahoma. She married Gary Barney in 1990, and they celebrated 24 years of marriage in August this year. She is preceded in death by her parents; her two stepfathers, Enix Willson and Keith Springer; and her two nephews. Donna is survived by her husband, Gary, of the home in Cushing; mother-in-law, Ruby Barney, of Goltry, Oklahoma; daughter, Leslie Whiting of Enid; daughter, Angela Waddle and husband Michael, of Enid; three grandchildren, James Rowland and wife Natieya, of Enid, Blake Rowland of Enid, and Rebecca Davis of Enid; three great-grandchildren, Alyona, Clayton and Raedyn Rowland, all of Enid; two sisters, Peggy Luetkemeyer and husband Butch of Kremlin and Louise Crenshaw of Enid; four brothers, Dennis Wells and wife Cleda of Enid, Jimmy Wells and wife Cathy of Wichita, Kansas, Danny Willson and wife Connie of Enid, and Randy Willson of Enid; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and family members whom she loved dearly. Memorials may be made to Valley Hope Treatment Center, with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of funds.
