Lucille was born November 24, 1923 in Goodson, Missouri, to P.H. and Laura (Bryant) Pitts, and she passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 in Oklahoma City, at the age 94. Lucille, as she was known to friends and family, grew up in Billings, Oklahoma. She graduated from Billings High School with the Class of '41. On July 7, 1943 Lucille and Charles Homer Barnes were married in Enid, Oklahoma. They were married 52 years before Homer passed away in September of 1995. After a career with Schlumberger Oilfield Services and Central National Bank, Lucille retired to enjoy a multitude of hobbies. An excellent seamstress, she made quilts, restored antique trunks and furniture, painted china and made dozens of porcelain dolls. Lucille was an avid attendee of estate sales and auctions where she enjoyed adding to her many and varied collections. She was also well known for her cookie baking.

Lucille is survived by her daughter, Connie Barnes Weber and her son-in-law Terry Weber of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lucille's name may be made to Oklahoma Foundation for the Disabled or to OKC Metro Alliance, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
