November 26, 1925 - August 13, 2019

A celebration of life for Lucille Banta, 93, of Enid, will be 2:00p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Gail Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 16 from 6:00-7:00p.m. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Lucille Banta was born on November 11, 1925 in Afton, OK to James W. and Lillian Berry and passed away August 13, 2019 in Enid, OK. On April 15, 1944 Lucille married the love of her life Harold Banta, Sr. in Holdenville, OK. In 1966 Lucille and Harold made their home in Enid. Together they enjoyed traveling and staying at their home on the lake where they spent a lot of time fishing.

Lucille loved to crochet, garden, canning vegetables and fruit, reading, and various types of puzzles. She enjoyed going on walks and visiting with her friends and family.

Lucille is survived by her son Harold Banta, Jr. and wife Barbara; Her granddaughter Stacy Miller and fiancé Jay; great-grandchildren, Megan Thompson and husband Tommy, Trevor Miller and wife Jordan, and Jordan and Devin Baranek; three great-great-grandchildren, Avalynn, Lakelynn, and Bennett.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Banta, Sr.; her grandson, Jason Banta; her infant sister, Mary.

Memorials can be made to The Alzheimer's Association with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be made and services viewed at www.ladusauevans.com.
