© Enid News and Eagle Enid, Oklahoma Fevruary 2, 2007 November 23, 1914 ~ January 30, 2007 Funeral services for Lucy Roe Baldwin, 92, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2007, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Matthew Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. She was born November 23, 1914, to Fred and Fannie [Mathis] McBroom in Texas and died Wednesday, January 31, 2007. She was raised in Texas and later moved to Oklahoma. She married Tillman P. Boese in Taloga, OK. They lived in Seiling, Chester, Fairview and then eventually settled in Enid. She then married Christopher Poindexter and then Wilber J. Baldwin, who each preceded her in death. She loved church, loved to sing and she played the mandolin when she was young. She is survived by her children, Marcella McCort of Weatherford, Texas, Alvin Boese and wife Mary of Waukomis, Renzer Boese and wife Mary of Enid, and Darrell Boese and wife Kathy of Enid; 16 grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her three husbands, parents, two grandchildren, two sisters, Lucille and Margaret, and brother, Fred C. McBroom. © Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Enid, Oklahoma April 2007 June 19, 1955 ~ April 24, 2007 The funeral service for Janet Marie Baldwin, 51, of Enid, will be held Monday, April 30, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Alan Seibel will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Janet was born June 19, 1955, in Woodward, OK to Bruce and Georgenne [Franks] Baldwin and died April 24, 2007, in Enid. She worked for Enid State School for over 20 years. She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Hokanson and husband Cody and three grandchildren, Tyler, Christian and Dasen; her mother, Georgenne Dailey; sister, Jeanne Choat and husband Steve; brother, Jason Wilson and wife Shannon; nieces, Jamie Hager and husband Eli, Shellie Floyd and husband Sammy; aunts and uncles and cousins; grandmother, Naomi Abernathy in Texas and long time friend, Roni Lynn. Janet was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Baldwin; and her step-father, Harry Dailey. She is much loved and will be deeply missed. |
