February 07, 1948 - March 18, 2019

Memorial Service for Jimmy Bailey, 71 of Enid, will be 2:00 PM, Friday, March 22, 2019, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements with Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Jim was born on February 7, 1948 in Oklahoma City to Jetty & Dorothy Bailey and passed away on March 18, 2019 in Enid.

Jim grew up in Billings and later moved to Enid. He was an owner and operator at a mechanic and welding shop. He loved building hotrods and racing cars.

He was preceded in death by both his parents; son, Leslie Bailey; and grandson, Tanner Bailey.

Jim is survived by children, Donna Hurst (Bill), Michelle Bailey, Jerry Niles, Kathy Bayat (Amir), Rex Wheeler (Jan), and Timmy Wheeler (Diane); grandchildren, Melanie, Justin, Danielle, James, Tristan, Dylan, and his very special granddaughter, Rachel; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Ron Bailey (Diana), Richard Bailey, and Kenneth Bailey; and sister, Linda Smith (Benny).
