A Celebration of Life Service for Dale F. Baade age 78 of Enid will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2016 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Scott Whittenburg and Rev. Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Dale was born June 10, 1937 in Enid to Walter and Mable Lichtenberg Baade and passed away at his home Tuesday, May 24, 2016 after a period of ill health. He attended country schools and later Carrier High School graduating in 1955.

Dale married Barbara Zaloudek on November 12, 1960 in Enid and she passed away August 15, 2009.

Dale was active in Boy Scouts where he served as Scout Master for 30 years, helping 18 young men become an Eagle Scout. He received the Humanitarian Award and Founders Award. He served on the Executive Board of the Great Salts Council which later became Cimarron Council. He was a Silver Beaver and received 3 Bead Wood Badges and District Award Merritt. Dale was an active member in District 3A Lions Club, Briggs Lions Club and North Enid Club. He also served on the Lions Boys Ranch Board as a Trustee for 18 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where he was confirmed, and later served as the Congregational President for 2 years. Dale served 10 years in the Army Reserves.

He worked 23 years at Champlin Petroleum Company, farmed all his life and custom combined. Dale worked in the oil field construction, Thilsted Electric and had his own construction company for 10 years. He worked for Garfield County Sherriff office until his health forced him to retire.

Dale is survived by his family; three sons, John Parks and wife Cathy of Mt. View, CA, Chris Baade of Edmond, Dale F. Baade II and wife Josephine of Houston, TX, daughter Elaine Lambert and husband Jeff of Barstow, CA, special angel Connie Bowen of Medford, OK, Brother Rev. Gene Baade and wife Joyce of Renton, WA, Sister Joan Empey and husband Pastor Charles of Lamesa, TX, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren and several other family members.

He was preceded in death by his wife.

Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Lions Boys Ranch or St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodians of the funds.
