Funeral services for Lynn J. Bowen, 102, of Hillsdale will be Saturday, March 1, 2014, 2:00 PM at the Hillsdale Bible Church with Dr. Robert Courtney officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Lynn was born July 14, 1911 in Hillsdale, OK, the son of John and Fannie Frey Bowen. He was united in marriage to Hazel M Hartman July 19, 1933 in Garden City, Kansas and she preceded him in death January 9, 2004. He farmed and ranched in the Hillsdale area all of his life. He was a member of the Hillsdale Bible Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Lynda Lizar, two sons, J. L. Bowen and J.C. Bowen, all of Hillsdale, nine grandchildren, twenty three great-grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by parents, a sister, Hazel Marquis and a grandson, James Lizar and one great-grandson, Trever McBride.

Memorial contributions by be made to Kremlin-Hillsdale School Athletic Program with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the fund. Online condolences may be left at ladusauevans.com.
