Delila Bonebrake (Dee)
August 11, 1924 - August 30, 2022
The funeral service for Delila "Dee" Irene Bonebrake, 98, will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Billy Benson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home.
Dee was born to Albert and Carrie Bell (Hawkins) Clay on August 11, 1924, in Ringling, and died Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at her home in Enid.
She grew up in Ringling. On September 1, 1951, she married Donavan "Don" Bonebrake in Oklahoma City, and they made their home in Enid. Dee was a relator, homemaker, and pharmacy technician at Phillips Drug. She was a member of Friends and Neighbors Extension Club and attended Garland Road Baptist Church. Dee quilted, was a seamstress and gardened.
Dee is survived by her son, Ricky and Debbie Bonebrake, of Enid; five grandchildren, April Horner, Sally Grimes, Victoria Blevins, Maci and Sarah Bonebrake; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters-in-law, Elaine Blasier and Alberta Bonebrake; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Pam, parents, and siblings.
