The graveside service for Gregory Sean Befort, 54 year-old former Enid resident is Saturday, September 30, 2023 at2:00PM in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Dedra Lyon officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Greg was born September 22, 1969 in Enid to Robert and Sophia (Butts) Befort and died September 23, 2023 in McAlester, Oklahoma after a long illness. He attended local schools and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1987.

Greg attended OSU Tech in Okmulgee and graduated as a General Motors Certified Mechanic. He worked as a mechanic in the Okmulgee area for many years.

On February 24, 2009 he married Dee Ann Brummett in Tennessee. The couple made their home in Okmulgee. Greg was an avid golfer, gardener, and a big KU Basketball Fan.

He is survived by his wife Dee Ann of the home, step-daughter Ariel Wigington, his parents Robert and Sophia, and his sister Stephanie Garis and husband Charles of Garber, mother-in-law Donna Brummett; sisters-in-law Dannell Brummett; and Denise Barnhart and husband Jeff. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Maternal and Paternal grandparents and his father-in-law.

Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson to OMRF (Multiple Sclerosis) Division.
