Maggie BARNES

Memorial Park Cemetery


Mrs. Maggie Barnes, former Enid resident, died Thursday at the home of a son, Fred J. Hoskins, Spearman, Texas. She was 86.

Graveside committal will be held at 5 p.m. today at Memorial Park emetery with the Fossett Funeral home in charge of local arrangements. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Spearman.

Mrs. Barnes was a pioneer resident of Enid where she lived until 1943 when her husband, John Barnes, real estate operator, died. After his death she moved to Spearman to live with her son.

Mrs. Barnes was a member of the Baptist church. She had been in ill health for several months.
