Funeral Services for June LaDonna Barnes age 65, of Enid will be 2 pm Thursday at the Westside Church of God in Christ with Supt. D.L. Norwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

June was born December 16, 1947 in Enid to Aubrey and Estelle Rich Swan and passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in St. Mary's Regional Hospital. She grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School in 1966. She attended Langston University for 2 years. June married Rudolph Barnes on November 3, 1975 in San Antonio, TX.

June worked at the YWCA as the Intake Supervisor and was the Nutritionist at Booker T. Washington Educational Center for the summer program. She attended Macedonia Church of God in Christ and for the past 14 years attended Westside Church of God in Christ. June was very active in the church both locally and statewide.

June is survived by her children, Angie Christopher of Moore, OK, Theresa LaDonna Barnes, of Enid, Wendy Michelle Barnes of South Korea, Stephanie Angela Barnes of Enid, and Rudolph Sidney Barnes of Enid, a sister Laura Brooks of Phoenix, AZ, and Brother William Swan of Edmond.

She was preceded in death by her son Rudolph Bryon Barnes, parents, step father Elder Robert Christopher, and sister Charlene Driver. Condolences may be made online at www.ladusauevans.com.
