December 13, 1936 - December 9, 2022

Funeral services for Shirley Ballew will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2022, in the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Vernon Lee officiating. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Shirley was born December 13, 1936, in Enid to Melvin and Mildred (Loch) Dee and passed away December 9, 2022.

She graduated from Enid High School in 1954. Shirley was a good bowler and fast-pitch softball player. Her greatest love was watching her granddaughters playing sports and having fun. Shirley worked for AT&T, then Thurman Bridge and Block, and Pillsbury Mill Company.

Shirley is survived by her sons, Dan Ballew, Marvin Ballew; daughter-in-law, Leslie Ballew; grandchildren, Kali, Sarah, Ruthie, Crystal; great-grandchildren, Henry, Bohdi, and one on the way; sister, Melva Riedl; and many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Murnice (Skip); and lifelong friend Arlene Parrack.
