Enid, Oklahoma March 2020 June 9, 1934 ~ March 25, 2020 Alta F Anthony was born June, 9, 1934 in Ames Oklahoma to Jennings Bryan Nelson Sr and Beulah Radford Nelson Cline. As a child the family moved to Enid where she would later marry Joseph Anthony. She had many careers in her life but was a proud factory worker at Baxter Pharmaceuticals in Manford, Ok. Her greatest joys in life were spending time on Keystone Lake, traveling, watching her hummingbirds and spending time in her garden. Later in life she was active in her community through fellowship with the Church of Christ, the Enid Moose Lodge, The Red Hatters Club and kicking up her heels at the American Legion dances. She was proceeded in death by her husband and siblings, Jennings Nelson Jr, Delpha Donaldson, Lila Dilis and son Robert Anthony. She is survived by her daughter Susan David, Daughter in Law Lisa Anthony, 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 30, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Memorial Park Cemetery. |
