Doris M. Albright
1887 ~ May 8, 1893 ~ February 1963


Funeral services for Mrs. Doris M. Albright, 76, who died at her home in Enid Monday, will be conducted at 10 AM today from the Chapel of the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.

Rev Willard K. Stevens will officiate. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery, under direction of the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Joe Sterling, Leonard Smith, Fred Croft, Alfred Hamen, Levi Coffield and John Walker.

Mrs Albright, a resident of 1518 N. Jackson, died Monday about 12:30 PM. She was a native of Missouri, where she spent her childhood.

She came to Enid in 1936, moving here from Illinois, and had resided here since that time.

In 1956 she married the late Frank J. Albright. He preceded her in death February of last year.

She was a member of the Seventh Day Church of God.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs Harry T. Lane of Enid, and Mrs Fern Cwikla, Chicago; one son, William H. Murray, Chicago; two sisters, Mrs Sylvia E. Asbury, Los Angeles, California, and Mrs Priebe, Las Vegas, Nevada; one half brother, Milen E. Hemstreet, Los Angeles; two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

One daughter preceded her in death.

Catherine "Kate" [Krieg] Albright
September 24, 1878 ~ July 30, 1969


Funeral services for Mrs Kate Albright, 115 W. State, who died Wednesday in a Tulsa hospital, will be at 2 PM Saturday in Calvary Baptist Church. Chaplain S. U. Butts will officiate.

Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.

Mrs Albright was born in 1878 and homesteaded in Oklahoma in 1901. She had lived in Enid since 1920.

Mrs Albright is survived by four sons, Elmer W. Adams, Tulsa, Raymond K. Adams, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Lloyd W. Adams, Los Angeles, California, and Roy Adams of LaFayette; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Willis Glee Albright
October 20, 1911 ~ January 4, 1981


Willis Glee Albright, 69, owner of Enid Motel, died Sunday morning in a local hospital following a period of ill health.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM Tuesday in Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev Kenneth Wade and the Rev. Martin Doering, ministers of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The body will lie in state in the foyer of the funeral home until service time.

Albright was born October 20, 1911, in Wakita to Jesse Grant and Mary K. Albright.

He attended school in the Wakita area, and on April 25, 1930, he married Hannah Irene Murry at Cherokee.

Albright was a member of Bethel Hawley Baptist Church of Nash.

Survivors include his wife, Irene; one son, Aldon Kent Albright, Enid; one daughter, Norma Loetta Henderson, Halstead, Kansas; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Lola Barrows, Enid.

Memorials may be made to Saint Paul's Lutheran Church with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.

Mrs. Irene Albright, 71, 1176 Hillside, died Saturday in an Enid hospital following a short illness.

She was born March 22, 1911, in Missouri.

She and Willis Albright were married April 25, 1930, and moved to Enid in 1952 from the Hawley community. He died January 4, 1981.

She was a member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Norma Henderson, Halstead, Kansas; one son, Kent Albright, Enid; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs John [Gladys] Pfalser, Freeport, Kansas, Mrs Claude [Leda] Carris, Enid, Mrs Blanche Oombaugh, Pond Creek, Mrs Bob [Ruth] Williamson and Mrs Paul [Eloise] McDaniel, Seiling, and Mrs Leo [Inez] Rockenbach, Alva; two brothers, Lee Murry, Manchester, and Jim Murry, Alva.

Memorials may be made in her name to Saint Paul's Lutheran Youth School or a favorite charity. The funeral home will serve as custodian of the fund.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday in the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Aldon Kent Albright
July 3, 1941 ~ January 5, 2000


Services for Aldon Kent Albright, 68 of Enid will be 10 AM Saturday, January 8, 2000, at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

He was born July 3, 1941 in Enid to Lee and Irene Murry Albright and died Wednesday, January 5, 2000, in St Mary's Mercy Hospital following a sudden illness.

Kent spent his early childhood on a farm in Grant County later moving to Enid where he attended the Enid school system.

He joined the US Air Force during peacetime.

In his early adulthood he rodeoed, raced stock cars and worked in the sign business.

On January 8, 1966 he married Darla Jenkins.

He owned and operated the Enid Speedway from 1981 to 1991. From 1992 to 1996 he owned the Cattleman's Café. He also operated the K & R mowing service with his cousin, Robert Freed.

Kent was a member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife Darla, a daughter, Kenda Morris and husband Jack, son Dustin and wife Risa, all of Enid; two grandchildren, Jordan and Carsyn Morris; sister Norma Henderson of Halstead, Kansas and his mother – in – law Leona Jenkins. Also surviving are a number of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made through the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home to Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Diabetes Division.

Sandra Elaine [Gee] Albright
November 19, 1950 ~ August 9, 2008


Funeral service for Sandra Elaine Gee Albright, age 57 of The Woodlands, Texas, formerly of Enid, will be Sunday, August 17, 2008 at 3:00pm at the First United Methodist Church in Enid. Pastor David Wiggs will officiate.

Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Sandra Elaine Gee Albright passed away early August 9, 2008 at her home in The Woodlands, Texas. She was born November 19, 1950 at St. Mary’s Hospital to Delmer and Anita Gee of Enid.

She graduated from Enid High School in 1968.

She married LeRoy Albright on June 1, 1968 at the First United Methodist Church in Enid.

LeRoy graduated from Enid High School in 1966.

They celebrated 40 years of marriage this year. They lived in Enid, Oklahoma, Salina, Kansas, Wichita, Kansas and Edwardsville, Kansas before moving back to Enid in 1975. They lived in Drummond, Oklahoma before moving to The Woodlands, Texas in 1989.

Sandra spent her time caring for her family, homeschooling her sons, and being involved with Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts including camping.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Conroe.

She started back to work at Conroe Medical Center as a Sterile Processing Technician in 2000, moved to Memorial Hermann Hospital of The Woodlands in 2002 where she worked until she was no longer physically able to work. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in March 2007. Sandra had surgery and chemotherapy and was found clear of cancer in September 2007 but it came back in December 2007.

Sandra wanted to thank the nurses and doctors at Memorial Hermann Hospital of The Woodlands and Hospice Care of the Southwest.

Sandra is survived by her husband; parents; two sisters, Cynthia Richardson of Marlow, Oklahoma and Patti Hawk of Enid; brother Jeff Gee of Enid; daughter Melissa Albright of Houston, Texas; two sons, Shawn Albright of Conroe, Texas, Scott Albright of Pensacola, Florida; and three grand children, Sabrina Flores, Brianna McCoy, and Braxton Albright, as well as her new daughter-in-law Kayla Wood Albright, wife of Scott Albright.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to MD Anderson Cancer Research.

Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home will act as custodian of the fund.
