Funeral services for Frank Henry Henke, 72, Enid, will be held on Friday morning, June 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin Strope officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Kremlin Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors. Visitation with the family present will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Stittsworth’s.

Frank was born on August 6, 1943 in Enid, the son of Frank and Opal Audrey Kelsick Henke, and passed away peacefully on May 30, 2016 at his residence. He was raised and educated in Kremlin, graduating from Kremlin High School with the class of 1961. Frank attended Okmulgee Tech for two years prior to moving back to Enid. Frank married Clara Eva Jane Grantz in Enid in January of 1966. She passed away on August 14, 1971. He worked for several automotive dealerships prior to working for Parriot’s Garage, and most recently worked for Stanley’s.

Survivors include his wife, Jonnie of the residence; daughters, Peggy and husband Tommy Rose of Enid, Lori and husband Tim Bonnewell of Enid; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brother, Jim Henke of Hunter, Oklahoma.

Frank was preceded in passing by his parents, infant son, Michael Shane, sister, Peggy Jo, brother, Donald Dwayne, and son, Loren Lee Shelite.

The family has selected, instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Hospice, Circle of Love, as appropriate for memorial donations.
