Kremlin Cemetery



Kevin J. Atkinson, 16, 1306 E. Cherry, died Wednesday afternoon in a local hospital after a long period of ill health. He was born February 19, 1959, and attended Roosevelt and Coolidge grade schools before Muscular Dystrophy disabled him so that a homebound teacher was necessary.

Kevin and his twin brother Kent received the "Mustang Award" for citizenship while at Longfellow Junior High School.

Kevin is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Atkinson, his twin brother Kent and a sister, Dianne Atkinson, all of the home; several aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Atkinson and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Brown.

Kevin's funeral will be at 2 PM Saturday in the Ladusau – Evans Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Richard Hedger officiating. He will be buried in the Kremlin Cemetery at Kremlin.
